Join us Friday and Saturday nights at Lonnie’s Reno Club for the arrival of the Trumpet Summit, featuring Lonnie McFadden, celebrated trumpeter, composer, bandleader and educator Clint Ashlock, and Kansas City native Chalis O’Neal!

Clint Ashlock is a Kansas City–based trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and educator who serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. He has performed with artists including Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Nicholas Payton, and Natalie Cole, and has performed internationally in Shanghai and Sydney. Joining him is Kansas City native Chalis O’Neal, a UMKC Jazz Studies graduate whose soulful and dynamic style is influenced by legends such as Miles Davis, Wynton Marsalis, and Roy Hargrove. Together with Lonnie McFadden, they promise an unforgettable night of world-class jazz.

Parking is available upon availability for $15 per vehicle at the Ambassador Hotel. Lonnie’s Reno Club is located in the lower level of the hotel. Public metered parking is available along Grand Boulevard, with a public parking garage across from the hotel’s main entrance.
